CHRISTOPHE DAVIET-THERY LIVRES ET EDITIONS D'ARTISTES

Christophe Daviet-Thery is a publisher and bookseller in Paris. The gallery opened in early 2001, commited to the creation and diffusion of books by contemporary artists. As a bookseller, he organizes exhibitions of artist books, prints and ephemera in collaboration with international publishers.

Exhibitions are monographic: Roni Horn, Hamish Fulton, Richard Long,Kiki Smith, Sol Lewitt, or about specific themes: Urbanescape, Lignes Multiples, and Books on Books. One's familiary with books - the ease with approaching them as objects-provides an ideal vehicle by which the public can approach artistic creation today.

As a publisher, he produced books with Fabrice Hybert, Chris Johanson, Mac Adams, Marcel Dzama, Francesca Gabbiani, Mark Dion, Yan Sérandour, Charline von Heyl, John Stezaker, Johannes Wohnseifer, Jockum Norström. He is preparing books by John Bock, Wade Guyton, Pablo Bronstein.

MFC-MICHÈLE DIDIER

MFC-Michèle Didier was established in 1987 and has since focused on the production and publication of original multiples by contemporary artists. Playing the part of an intermediary between the artist and productions professionals (printing, film industry, etc.), MFC-Michèle Didier gives artists complete freedom to develop their projects. MFC-Michèle Didier produces books, installations, films, videos. A collection of artist videos called Import is created in 2003 by MFC-Michèle Didier in association with Les Presses du Réel.

Founded in 1976, Dieu Donné Papermill is a non-profit artist workspace dedicated to the creation, promotion, and preservation of contemporary art in the hand papermaking process. The organization's primary programs are devoted to mid-career and emerging artists from varying backgrounds and disciplines for the development of new work, and the achievement of innovation in both the medium and the greater world of contemporary art.

Recent and upcoming collaborations include work by E.V. Day, Ann Hamilton, Jim Hodges, William Kentridge, Ursula Von Rydingsvard, Glen Baldridge, Jennifer Cohen, Ian Cooper, Matt Keegan, Chris Nau and Michael Schall.
